Midwestern Amputee Golf Association
A volunteer group of individuals who have experienced and overcome the loss of a limb or limbs and utilize the game of golf to promote friendship, fitness, fun, and rehabilitation through active participation in golf for amputees of all ages.
Specializes in personalized care from highly trained chiropractors for most conditions of the spine, headaches, neck & back pain, numbness, tingling, and muscle tension.
Healing Paws is a volunteer based comfort animal therapy program providing pet experience throughout the community.
CAF’s 2026 Annual Grant Program opens on October 1 — just one week away. Now is the time to double-check your eligibility and make sure you have all your documents ready to go. Submitting early gives you the best chance to avoid technical issues and ensure your application is complete and is received before the deadline on November 14, 2025.

Confirm you have the required letters of recommendation
First-time applicants should also have their medical verification of disability prepared.

All of the information that we provide is reviewed by the Coalition’s medical/scientific advisory committee of experts in the field of limb loss so you can count on the accuracy of the information.
Tips for Driving as an Amputee
Living with limb loss often brings changes to daily routines, but it doesn’t have to mean giving up independence. Amputation affects every aspect of your life in ways both expected and unexpected. Luckily, advancements in prosthetics and modifications have helped many amputees continue to participate in everyday activities they might have otherwise lost out on, including driving. Read on to learn more about driving as an amputee and what you might need to get back behind the wheel.
